Granada City Tour and Alhambra visit

The Alhambra, called AL-Hamra (The Red) by the Muslims, is a palatine city and a military fortress built by the Zirí and the Nasrid dynasties (XI-XV centuries). After the surrender of the city, it became the Christian Royal House of the Catholic Monarchs and the Emperor Carlos V (XV-XVI centuries). The Alhambra (1237) and the Generalife (1314) were declared as National Monuments in 1870 and World Heritage Sites by Unesco in 1984. The Sacromonte district is located on the Valparaiso hill of Granada and borders the north-east side of the Arab El Albaícin district. In the 15th century, a large group of Roma, or the Spanish gypsies (the Gitanos) situated themselves here. They created houses by making cave homes in the hills; the Sacromonte district owes its fame to these houses. This population group Gitanos has a long-standing tradition with the flamenco, the typical Spanish dance and music.

Activities;

Multi Adventure Circuit – 55 €

It consists of a circuit trough Ferrata, where you could climb and hanging bridges is carried out. You can also visit the surroundings of the Alicún Spa, seeing some dolmens and the Toril Ditch. (Includes all necessary technical material).

Geopark Hiking – 18 €

Hiking route through the periphery of Guadix, approximately three hours long, suitable for all levels. You can see the badlans, carcavas, views of the Sierra Nevada and the Hoya de Guadix. Before the start of the route, participants will be given a role with questions and tests that they will have to overcome or answer during the tour. Some will also have to take a role throughout the route.

Sierra Nevada Route – 33 €

These routes are to take a day and be able to enter the Natural and National Park of Sierra Nevada, reaching areas well known as Barranco del Alhorí, Picón de Jerez, Los Morrones de Sierra Nevada and any other peak of 3,000 Meters. ‘Freedom’ offered by this type of routes there are no words that can describe it, they are only about experiences and sensations.

Canyon Hiking – 55 €

Descent of Barrancos: We can make any ravine near Guadix, where its main activity is to go down the course of a river surpassing everything that is interponga, whether jumps, rappels, slides, trepises… (Includes all technical material necessary). You’ll feel like a fish in the water and the adrenaline levels you get your body are totally uncontrollable.

Guadix Area and Cave Visit – 35 €

Duration of the visit 3 hours . It is a visit to discover the city of Guadix. The itinerary will be the monumental exterior Guadix: through its monuments we will spin the history of this imposing city ranging from its newly discovered Roman theater to the curious cave houses that are still being excavated today.

After the historic center: Roman theater, cathedral, pigeon square and Jewish quarter (palaces, viewpoints and squares).

Horse Riding – 28 €

Horse-mounted outings such as private Calesa Rides last approximately 1 hour. It is ideal for families, couples and any group wanting to live an unforgettable experience. The tour performed by a local professional starts at the equestrian center itself and enjoys a wonderful experience through the Quaternary Geopark. Several groups can be made per day.

Relaxing – 30 €

Winery Visit – 15 €

Available Monday to Sunday. Explanatory information about the winery and the broths that are produced, along with a tasting of 4 wines and an exquisite tapas between 12 and 14 hours

Flight in Globo, lasting 1 hour crossing the sky of the Cave Territory. The activity lasts 3 hours and includes breakfast.
