Meeting at our hotel in Paris. After a tour briefing by the tour guide we are leaving the hotel for Palace of Versailles. We will visit to palace and walk around the park and lake of the Swiss guard.
Today we are visiting Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris which was recently damaged by fire. Widely considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture, Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris contains some of Catholicism’s most significant relics, including the purported Crown of Thorns, a fragment of the True Cross, and one of the Holy Nails. The cathedral is known for its statue of the Virgin and Child, its antique organ, and its great bell. Then we are heading to Le Marais which was once the city’s Jewish quarter. Le Marais is full of en vogue art galleries, significant and historic architectural buildings. You’ll find many nightclubs, cabarets, and shops in the southwestern portion. After our visit to Le Marais we continue our trip with Champs-Elysees: most probably the most famous shopping boulevard in the world! Champs-Elysees contains some of the most prestigious stores and cafes in Paris. While walking among the gardens and tree-lined promenades, you may encounter an open-air marionette theatre for children, a French tradition popular through the ages. You’ll see several monuments as you stroll along the street, including the Obelisk of Luxor and the Arc de Triomphe. The lower part is bordered by greenery, while further west you’ll find cinemas, cafes, restaurants, and luxury specialty shops. Our last stop today is Eiffel Tower. Even though you have seen this admirable tower in countless films, still when you see it for the first time you’ll be blown away by its magnificent scale and grandeur. It was built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889. It is 325-m (1,063 ft) and for 40 years this was the tallest structure in the world. There are restaurants and shops on the first and second levels.
Today make your family’s dreams come true at Disneyland Paris, the European outpost of the famous “Magic Kingdom.” The park is divided into five themed lands–Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland–with the Disneyland Railroad running along the perimeter. At the center, see the white Fantasyland Castle with its pink turrets designed around the real Château d’Ussé.
After our day in this dreamland we depart from Paris to Colmar. Overnight in Colmar.
Today we are having a day trip in Colmar which is located on the German border, the Alsace region is famed for its scenic vineyards and medieval villages, with below stops:
Stop At: Vieille ville d’Eguisheim Enjoy a pickup and transfer from Colmar before taking a day tour through the Alsace in a comfortable minivan. Departing from the historical center of Colmar, you will pass through the wine route along the beautiful vineyards and little villages, from there you can explore the typical Alsatian architecture which is magical, colorful, and unique. You will make a stop at the four wonders of the Alsace as they are called. The first one is Eguisheim, one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
Stop At: Route des Vins d’Alsace Then drive further along the Alsatian Wine Route, immerse yourself in the world of vineyards and products which make the Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr region’s reputation. To test the region’s wine reputation, you will visit a typical wine cave and you can taste a big variety of wines such as Gewurztraminer, pinot gris, pinot blanc and many more.
Stop At: Kaysersberg Our tour will end with Kayserberg, where its high fortress dominates the city and serves as a reminder of both its strategic importance, and its warlike past. After visiting these 4 wonders, our driver will bring you safely back to Colmar.
Depart from Colmar to Strasbourg – Approx 1h. After breakfast you start your walking tour of this beautiful city with your tour guide. Listen to stories of Strasbourg’s history and its German heritage, and see that heritage firsthand at the first stop of the day — the Grande Ile. Stroll through this UNESCO World Heritage Site’s pretty pedestrian-friendly lanes to see the Medieval Maison Kammerzell. It was once a private home, and is now a restaurant and hotel. See the statue of Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the Gutenberg printing press, who was living in Strasbourg when he invented it. Pass by the ornately decorated 18th-century Palais Rohan, a palace where Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte both stayed. Continue walking through the Grande Ile to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the most magnificent buildings in Strasbourg. Admire the 12th- and 14th-century stained glass and rose windows set into all that imposing stonework and topped with spires. Visit the neighborhood of La Petite France, which used to be where workers in the milling, tanning and fishing trades lived. Many of the half-timbered houses they once called home remain, overlooking the little canals that run through the neighborhood. Find out where the district got its name — a 15th century hospital for people suffering from syphilis. Walk along the cobblestone streets and take advantage of the many photo opportunities — of canals, covered bridges and the Vauban Dam — as you pass the Old Butcher’s House, Saint Thomas Church and the Custom’s House. After this 2-hour walking tour you have a chance to have a bike tour for two or three hours options.
Departure day. We are traveling back to Paris today.
